The organization has a worldwide presence and operates temples, cultural centers, and educational institutions.

Our Impact

The impact of ISKCON can be seen in various aspects:

How It Works?

ISKCON operates through a hierarchical organizational structure and follows a centralized decision-making process.

Leadership: The organization is led by a Governing Body Commission (GBC), which is composed of senior members who are responsible for setting policy and making decisions on behalf of the society.

Temples and Centers: ISKCON operates temples and cultural centers globally, which serve as the primary place of worship and community gathering. Each center is typically managed by a local management team and overseen by regional leaders.

Our recent visit to the ISKCON temple was extremely mesmerising. The construction of the temple is just marvellous and the beauty of the architecture and the location around the temple is quite impressive. The temple's architecture is stunning, with beautiful golden decorations reflecting the site's majesty and dedication. The deities are elegantly wrapped, and the decorations are bright, resulting in a peaceful and spiritual atmosphere. The temple priests performed the ceremonies with tremendous devotion, which contributed to the spiritual mood. The general cleanliness and upkeep of the temple grounds was outstanding. This temple is a must-see for everyone looking for a relaxing and spiritual experience. The Govindam restaurant provide very good tasty food at the entry gate. They provide accommodation at a reasonable price. Such a nice place to visit, simple and cool Atmosphere. Everything is organised and cleanliness is at it most.

Calm, beautiful and spiritual place to enjoy your mornings or evenings. We reached there a little late around 12.15pm but it turned out to be a good time to visit there. As at 12:30pm is for Aarti time. We had an opportunity to attend the Aarti and have the Darshan until 1pm. As after 1pm Mandir will be closed for Darshan but the other parts of Mandir can still be accessed. We purchased the Bhagvad Gita from this place for which the price is very less. Overall a good experience.

ISKCON NVCC Temple in Pune is a truly peaceful and spiritually uplifting place. Located in the Kondhwa area, the temple is nestled away from the city's hustle and offers a serene atmosphere ideal for meditation, prayer, and relaxation. The moment you enter the premises, the calmness and devotion in the air are immediately noticeable. The temple complex is clean, well-maintained, and beautifully designed, with lush gardens and open spaces that enhance the overall experience. The architecture is a perfect blend of traditional Vedic style and modern construction. The main temple hall houses beautifully adorned deities of Lord Krishna and Radha, and the intricate carvings and decorations reflect the rich cultural heritage of the Vaishnav tradition. The aartis and kirtans conducted here are incredibly soothing and spiritually energizing. Attending the evening arati is a divine experience, with rhythmic chanting and traditional instruments filling the hall with energy. The temple offers a structured daily schedule for darshan, starting early in the morning with Mangala Arati and continuing with several other darshan and arati slots throughout the day. Timings are strictly followed, and the discipline adds to the sanctity of the place. One of the highlights is Govinda’s bakery and the prasadam counter, which serve fresh, sattvic vegetarian food and bakery items. The quality and taste are excellent, and everything is prepared with cleanliness and devotion. There is also a gift and book shop within the premises, offering spiritual books, devotional music, incense, and souvenirs. For those looking to spend more time in devotion, the temple also provides guest house facilities with both AC and non-AC rooms. The rooms are simple but clean and comfortable, making it convenient for people attending festivals, long prayer sessions, or retreats. Accessibility is easy, with ample parking space and regular auto-rickshaw and cab availability. It's about 30 to 40 minutes from the main city depending on traffic. Overall, ISKCON NVCC Temple is not just a place of worship but a cultural and spiritual hub that welcomes everyone with warmth. Whether you are a devotee of Lord Krishna or simply looking for a place to find some peace, this temple offers a deeply fulfilling experience. हरे कृष्ण हरे कृष्ण कृष्ण कृष्ण हरे हरे हरे राम हरे राम राम राम हरे हरे ॥

ISKCON Katraj Road in Pune is one of the most prominent and beautiful temples in the city, attracting devotees and visitors alike. The temple, dedicated to Lord Krishna and Radha, is known for its grand architecture, peaceful ambiance, and spiritual significance. Situated in a serene location away from the hustle and bustle of the city, it provides a perfect environment for meditation and devotion. One of the most striking aspects of the temple is its large and well-designed structure, featuring intricate carvings, spacious halls, and a divine atmosphere that enhances the spiritual experience. The temple complex is well-maintained, with clean surroundings and well-organized facilities for visitors. Inside, the beautifully adorned idols of Lord Krishna and Radha, along with other deities, create a mesmerizing sight. The temple is especially vibrant during festivals like Janmashtami, when it is decorated beautifully, and thousands of devotees gather to celebrate with devotional songs, prayers, and prasadam distribution. The temple also has a large gathering hall where regular discourses, kirtans, and spiritual programs are conducted. The ISKCON community here actively engages in cultural and religious activities, making it not just a place of worship but also a center for learning and spiritual growth. There is also a prasadam (food) section, where visitors can enjoy delicious and sattvic vegetarian meals. The temple shop offers books, idols, and other devotional items, making it a great place for those interested in deepening their spiritual knowledge. However, one minor challenge is that the temple can get crowded, especially on weekends and during festivals, leading to longer waiting times to enter the main sanctum. Additionally, since the temple is located on Katraj Road, traffic congestion can sometimes be an issue while reaching the premises. Despite these small inconveniences, ISKCON Katraj Road is a must-visit for devotees, spiritual seekers, and even tourists looking for a peaceful retreat. Its grand architecture, devotional atmosphere, and community involvement make it one of Pune’s most significant religious landmarks. Whether you’re visiting for prayer, meditation, or simply to admire its beauty, the temple offers a truly enriching experience.
